PFL Marriage Ministry Mission Statement
To provide married couples with biblical principles and life skills that will help them establish and maintain a healthy marriage through God’s original plan. We aim to assist couples in every stage of relational development to create a radiant marriage that thrives on commitment, intimacy, and growth. The PFL Marriage Ministry seeks to help couples understand God’s sovereign plan for marriage, the roles of spouses within marriage, and the wonderful blessing marriage can be when both spouses are obedient to God’s Word.
PFL Marriage Ministry Foundational Scriptures
The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” But for Adam no suitable helper was found. So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” Genesis 2: 18, 20-23(NIV)
Target Audience
Married couples (relationship enrichment); Engaged Couples (about to enter into a marital relationship); & Premarital couples (dating with intention of marriage)
One on One Relationship and Life Coaching (Married and Single individuals needing some guidance .
Meeting Times
1st Monday of every month 6:30pm-7:00Pm at the Abundant Life Church Ministries location
4th Friday of every other month for a date-night outing at different locations
